Product Details
Metallic silicon, also known as industrial silicon and crystalline silicon, is obtained by reducing silicon dioxide with a carbon reducing agent in a mineral furnace. It is an important raw material for the production of organic silicon, polysilicon and aluminum alloys. Metallic silicon is produced by continuous electrothermal chemical reaction in a mineral furnace using silicon dioxide, a carbonaceous reducing agent and a loosening agent as raw materials. During the smelting production process, the materials required for production are first sent to the silo of the ore furnace workshop by the raw material handling system, and then transported to the top silo of the ore furnace workshop or the storage silo of the operating platform by the conveying equipment according to the specific gravity of the materials. The furnace charge is added to the furnace by the furnace operator.
